Scottish Development International along with its industry partners are hosting a virtual Global Foodservice Summit bringing senior culinarians from North America, Europe and Asia to Scotland for 3-4 hours per day of informative and engaging content.
Meet and discover over 40 producers, see sites and facilities and taste Scotland.
Summit delegates are senior Executive Chefs, culinarians and menu development professionals like you. They are senior F&B directors and industry leaders looking to make a difference and want to meet new and exciting producers ready to provide solutions.
We aim to create meaningful connections for you, to help inform and let you discover the breadth of great Scottish produce and how to get it. We want to provide a distinct and engaging experience.
Places are invitation only. We would like to invite you as our exclusive guest and participant, where you can experience, learn, discover and taste the very latest from Scotland and to discover how you can source more from Scotland.
We know the industry is in a state of tremendous change but great innovation, talent and ingredients still lay at the heart of great customer experience. We want to help.
The power of food and drink lies in our ability to create experiences, share the provenance and tell the story - to have culinarians try, taste and see produce. Scotland is doing just that.
Producers are ready to meet professionals like you forging the changes in foodservice.
Segments will vary in length from 30-60 minutes.
A chance to see behind the scenes of producers and meet the makers through in-depth 30 minute live / pre-recorded sessions.
Curated interactive, live tastings: Scottish cheeses and Scottish rapeseed oil.
The Summit’s 4th day will feature exclusively Scottish beverage producers in a quick pitch/speed dating format. Designed for decision makers in the bar realm, we offer an efficient and information-packed session with a number of producers presenting.
A series of interactive Chef panel discussions covering the important subjects affecting all of our industry, from menu development to sustainability.
Featuring many of the producers’ products in fun, interactive sessions.
Learn more about Scotland’s sustainability, animal husbandry and agricultural excellence
Enabling meaningful connections to take place between you and producers that match to your interests and needs.
All Participants in the Summit will receive an exclusive sample box delivered to them before the Summit start containing produce featured. This sample box will contain products available in your market and also featured in the tastings.
